Congratulations to Gareth Nyandoro for the inclusion in the group show Kuvhunura: the Harare School currently on view at The Blachère Foundation in Bonnieux, France.
The exhibition features 22 prominent painters who are reshaping Zimbabwe’s contemporary art scene. Kuvhunura translates from Shona as “the shedding, the renewal: entering the lake with a candle”, embodying the artistic committment of this generation of artists in challenging the boundaries of painting.
Kuvhunura: the Harare School is curated by Georgina Maxim and Valérie Kabov. On view until 8th March 2025.
