Showing for the first time at an art fair since a solo at Art Basel Miami (2018), a new installation by LA-based artist Zina Saro-Wiwa will comprise new photography and moving image exploring emotional and psychological landscapes, African masquerade culture and spiritual ecosystems. Probing the subcutaneous layers of environmentalism, the works will look at the psychosocial and cultural value of African forests. She will premiere a new 2-channel film shot on location across multiple sites in Niger Delta.
