This new body of work explores the artist's thoughts and feelings within a year of a global pandemic and the increased light being shed on the mistreatment of women, POCs and queer people alike. Aesthetically, the works keep in line with her usual style and opening conversations around abstract art, who makes it and why. More so now than ever before, the need to create soft, open and ethereal spaces that she can inhabit as a black women feels a core in her practice
