This work connects to ideas around the African Cosmos and Divination. I
was interested in exploring the legacy of the creation of the African
Diaspora through the act of colonialism combining motifs around voyage
and time. I wanted to have two figures engaged in a dialogue around
ancestral lineage and retrieval of knowledge. The Seeker actively engaged in assimilating knowledge and the Knowledge Keeper as the sage who holds wisdom throughout the ages...
