This piece was inspired by a visit to Prempeh’s mum’s friend’s, Lydia, in Caliaqua. It shows Prempeh’s mum and uncle sitting together, with the curtains over the window and a pillow nearby. Prempeh says: ‘I was drawn to the mood of the scene - how it leaves you unsure of what’s outside, yet inside, there’s a quiet moment of two people dining together.’ This is part of a projection piece, where a person comes in and out, sitting in the armchair, representing an unspoken dialogue and seems fitting to present with Tante Winnie and The Boys Quarters.
