This house, the idea of building, and the contrast between painting the bricks and this dark, empty shell of a home against the vibrant land surrounding it. There’s something there, I’m still working through what it means.
I also captured a moment between him and a woman who passed by to use the water pump. He was telling her, “You shouldn’t be doing this,” and it struck me as part of the broader story of this place - his interactions and this idea of building something that isn’t quite complete.’
