Composition collages two different moments. The immediate wooded scene is of her eldest son Eli, his friend Kaiden and new friend in Battersea Park. The artist recollected her work in a summer camp in Markham, Illinois, United States, facilitating pre-teens and adolescents. SO was watching the children and thinking about the freedoms and experiences one has growing up into adulthood and going out into the world.
